The Path of the Crystalline Heart is a path of initiations.  Though adapted to the life circumstances of the Western world, it treats both ancient knowledge and new insights responsibly.  The apprenticeship in the Wayna Fanes Tradition, certainly unique in Europe, is designed accordingly. It begins with a comprehensive basic series, “„Der unvergleichlich strahlende Stein: Auf sieben Regenbogenwegen zum Juwel der Seele“ („the incomparably radiant stone: following seven rainbow paths towards the jewel of the soul“), that extends over about one and a half years. It consists of five extended weekend workshops and a summer week in the Fanes range of the Dolomites.

After this basic training, further steps of initiation can be taken. You may become a member of the Dolomiten Ayllu, where you will have the opportunity to contribute to higher ceremonial work with a planetary reach. In this way, you become a member of a community of medicine people whose deep wish is to be of service for Pachamama and her children, with a crystalline heart. If you don’t want to make that decision yet, you can still participate in some weekend workshops and go on pilgrimage to sacred sites with the ayllu.

For those who want to learn more about the Path of the Crystalline Heart before taking an apprenticeship or who simply want to participate informally, Waltraud Hönes leads public workshops in addition to the apprenticeship series that offer basic experiences with the mesa, pilgrimage for the Earth and the New Myth of Fanes. In addition, there are opportunities to go on one-day pilgrimages and participate in myth-telling evenings led by long-term Ayllu members.

No matter where you are living, it is ideal to begin your path in this tradition at its place of origin, where it has been developed and lived both in and with the local landscape for many years.  This gives you a solid foundation to continue your path at your own home.
Workshops and pilgrimages for the earth can, of course, also be offered in other regions and countries.  Please contact us if you are interested in organizing such an event yourself.

„On the spiritual path you can make two mistakes: One is, wanting to have arrived aready without having walked yet, and the other one is, to walk without ever wanting to arrive.“

Statements from Participants

"The two days in the circle of Wayna Fanes people gave me hours in a loving atmosphere. I am impressed by the depth of the meditations and group members’ dedication to their work for the well being of Mother Earth."

Marlene, participant Winter Solstice 2020

”I experienced Wayna Fanes as a warm community, in which I immediately felt accepted and comfortable. The power and intensity of the ceremonies surprised me and at the same time touched me deeply. The curandera Waltraud Hönes knows how to lighten longer ceremonial processes with her humor. It is a pleasure to listen to her words. The work of Wayna Fanes is an enormously important contribution for our Earth in such an auspicious time. For this I thank you from the bottom of my heart!”

"I searched for the dream of my soul
and discover myself in the great common dream
where the world begins to sing,
where healing can happen,
where the colors of the rainbow unite."

Margaret (our translation from German)

"I have been a member of Dolomiten Ayllu for several years. It is a very soulful path on which I experience much beauty, be it in the pilgrimage to our sacred places in the mountains, in being together with the community, in the ceremonial weekends or in the common ceremonies. I don't want to miss these experiences anymore, because they are balm for my soul, make me content and let me become part of a great divine dream that I help to shape. It is very healing for me to stretch beyond my self and be at the service of the dream: to simply be present in the moment and do what needs to be done for being together with Earth and all its living beings, visible and invisible, in a respectful, heartfelt way."
